Leadership Roles

Fully trained teachers will have all the skills and knowledge to succeed in their subject areas from the beginning however as a teacher you are always learning and adding to your range of professional skills. You continually develop the talents to succeed in your chosen career and should you wish to progress from classroom teaching, you will have a variety of progression routes to choose from. 

Leadership

As a leader in a school, you could progress on to a number of roles; you could take the lead a particular project, year group or a key stage; you may develop your knowledge of specific needs and become a SENCO; or you could progress to being a Vice Principal or Principal. All middle and senior leadership roles within a school come with a large amount of responsibility and accountability; you will be an outstanding teacher, set high standards and ensure continuous improvement throughout the school.
