Rebecca Stansfield

Rebecca started her teaching career at Delta (when it was SPTA) in 2012. Rebecca started her career at Whetley having joined as a student to complete her final teaching practice and never leaving! Rebecca has taken on several roles within her career at Whetley including SEND lead, Key Stage 1 Lead and Assistant Headteacher.

Rebecca says she doesn't have an area of expertise and likes to try her hand at everything; we know that as well as being passionate about each and every pupil who walks through the door, she fights tirelessly to ensure everyone gets a fair deal! (She has the neatest handwriting in the Trust!)

An average day for Rebecca is "busy, busy, busy!" She works with groups of children to ensure everyone is progressing as they should be, completes paperwork, leads staff meetings, speaks to parents about their child's progress and does everything she can to ensure the academy runs smoothly so her teachers can focus on teaching the children.

Outside of work, family is the most important thing to Rebecca and with three boys, she spends her weekends mostly stood at the side of a football pitch, whatever the weather. Used to the outdoors, Rebecca has a farm so a lot of her spare time is spent looking after their cows!

Rebecca's favourite time of the year is summer when its hay making time! She loves to watch her boys rolling around in the hay and riding on the back of the family tractor!

I love the collaboration within Delta. Supporting and being supported makes you believe in what you do. I love having people I can call on for help and advice.
