Hull Trinity House Academy

Hull Trinity House Academy is a thriving 11-16 secondary school of over 600 students. Founded in 1787 it is closely situated to its original site, in the heart of the City of Hull and still participates actively in the civic life of the city. The academy has a well-established reputation for excellence in education and our students are consistently among the highest achieving in the Humber Region. Hull Trinity House School was awarded Specialist Status in Engineering in 2008 and became an academy in April 2012.

In September 2013 the academy moved to a larger site and more than doubled the student intake from 56 students to 120. The new building provides a truly modern setting with state-of-the-art facilities and technology to support our students in maximising their potential.

Hull Trinity House Academy is a smaller than average secondary school for boys. It is oversubscribed and draws students from Kingston Upon Hull and the surrounding area. The proportion of students known to be eligible for free school meals is above average. As of October 2018, there were 630 students on roll.
