Park View Primary Academy

Park View Primary Academy is situated in an attractive position overlooking Cross Flatts Park in South Leeds, serving the communities of Beeston and Holbeck. We are a one form entry school with a 52 place nursery.

Since the school opened in September 1992 we have been a popular and over-subscribed school which is highly valued for the significant role it plays in the local community.

Most of our pupils are from Pakistani and Bangladeshi families. A well above average number of pupils speak English as an additional language. The proportion of disabled pupils and those with special educational needs supported at school action is above average. The proportion of pupils supported at school action plus is similar to that seen across the country as is the proportion of pupils with a statement of special educational needs.

The proportion of pupils who are supported by pupil premium funding is well above average. (The pupil premium is additional funding for those pupils who are known to be eligible for free school meals and those children who are looked after by the local authority.)
